Echoing deep within the caves of Dald Orgil resonated a rumor about a beast within the caverns’ darkest recesses who would grant wishes for whomever proved worthy of their appearance. While its existence was often considered no more than a folktale, many still held their suspicions, which only grew stronger after the unnerving events following the birth of the magus’ heiress Tennyo Arulaq.While she was once considered a Warrior of Light, she now treads with one foot in the darkness, sinking ever deeper the longer she lives unchanging.

PERSONALITY
Quiet and unassuming with a prickly outside and softhearted center, she’s quick to see the worst in things and very slow to trust. The walls she's constructed around herself are high and the expectations she has for others even higher, but behind the mask hides an intriguing woman with an active imagination and an understated but evident drive for harmony (one way or another).

Tennyo was born to be a bargaining chip to fanatical parents who resided deep within the caves of Dald Orgil, desperate that their sacrifice would insure their livelihood and the future of their reclusive tribe. Sensing her latent aether and unwilling to fully inhabit an infant, the voidsent Bifrons stays hidden within Tennyo until she’s a promising enough young adult.Growing up, she struggled with magic and hardly met the expectations of a child born to such renowned mages. To her resident voidsent, it was just another sign that his vessel’s talents were misplaced and it was up to him to influence and guide her. These memories that weren’t hers and voices she didn’t recognize, entirely indistinguishable from the Echo, tainted her childhood and adolescence. New friends shied away soon after they grew close, and many adults considered her a bad omen.When the rumors grew too loud and her physical appearance began to reflect the void, her parents feared their investment would come back to bite them and hired her a personal guard under the guise of ensuring her safety, truly meant for others’ protection.When the truth of her life is revealed to her, the voidsent takes control for the first time while the village suffers. She and her guard, bound no longer by duty but by friendship and a shared grief, take off together to start anew.PRESENT DAY (DT)
Retired from adventuring without a plan and holding the future of humanity in her claws, she doesn't leave the comfort of her cottage in Thavnair unless she must (or if well persuaded by a friend). As difficult as it is for her to admit, she appreciates the company of those willing to indulge in comfortable silence together.
